These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CVTechSupport platform, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by CVTechSupport Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at Office 16, 33 York Street Business Centre, 33 York Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3RN, United Kingdom ("CVTechSupport", "we", "us", "our").
By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or signing an order form that references these Terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity (a "Partner SaaS"), you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
1. The Service
CVTechSupport is a customer-support platform used by SaaS companies whose product is a CV builder, cover-letter tool, resume-template service, or other career-tools subscription. The Service is used by Partner SaaS companies to handle their subscribers' help requests, refund and cancellation cases, technical issues, and related transactional communications. CVTechSupport does not interact with end users for marketing purposes and does not sell the Partner SaaS's product.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the laws applicable to you.
- Each user must have a unique login and is responsible for safeguarding their credentials. Sharing logins is prohibited.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by your authorised users.
3. Partner SaaS obligations
If you use the Service as a Partner SaaS, you additionally agree that:
- You will only forward to the Service support cases and subscriber records relating to your own paying or trial subscribers, collected lawfully and with appropriate consent under applicable data protection law.
- You will display your business name, registered address, and contact information to your subscribers, and use the Service only for the operational, support, and transactional communications it is designed for.
- You will comply with our Acceptable Use Policy at all times. Violations may result in immediate suspension.
- You will execute our Data Processing Agreement, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
- You will not use the Service to send marketing campaigns, cold outreach, promotional content, or any message to a person who did not subscribe directly to your product and consent to service communications.
4. Plans, fees, and payment
Fees for the Service are set out in your order form or on our pricing page in force at the time of subscription.
- Unless otherwise agreed, fees are invoiced monthly in advance and are due within 14 days of invoice date.
- Fees are stated exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying in addition.
- Late payments accrue interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate from the due date until the date of actual payment.
- We may suspend the Service for accounts more than 30 days overdue, after written notice.
- All fees are non-refundable except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by mandatory law.
5. Refunds we process on your behalf
The Service includes a workflow that allows your authorised staff to record, approve, and process refunds and subscription cancellations against your payment service provider (e.g. Stripe). For the avoidance of doubt:
- You remain the legal counterparty to the subscriber and the sole decision-maker for whether a refund or cancellation is granted.
- CVTechSupport executes refunds and cancellations only on your instruction, through your connected payment service provider account, in accordance with your written refund policy.
- You are responsible for ensuring your refund and cancellation policy complies with applicable consumer-protection law in every jurisdiction where you accept subscribers.
6. Ownership and licences
Our intellectual property
The Service, including all software, designs, interfaces, text, and documentation, is owned by CVTechSupport or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Service during your subscription term solely for your internal business purposes.
Your content
You retain all rights in the data, documents, and content you or your subscribers submit to the Service ("Customer Content"). You grant CVTechSupport a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit, display, and process Customer Content solely to provide and improve the Service and to comply with law.
Feedback
If you provide us with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction or attribution.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to permit any user to:
- Use the Service to send messages that violate our Acceptable Use Policy or the AWS Acceptable Use Policy.
- Upload, store, or transmit unlawful, harmful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code from the Service, except to the extent expressly permitted by law.
- Resell, sublicence, or provide the Service to a third party in a manner that competes with CVTechSupport.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network without prior written authorisation.
- Bypass, disable, or circumvent any security or usage limit of the Service.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately if you materially breach these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or the Data Processing Agreement; if your account becomes more than 30 days overdue; or if continuing service poses a security, reputational, or legal risk to CVTechSupport, our infrastructure providers, or other customers.
You may terminate your subscription at any time in accordance with your order form. On termination, your right to access the Service ends. We will make Customer Content available for export for 30 days following termination, after which we will delete it in line with our Privacy Policy retention schedule unless we are legally required to retain it.
9. Confidentiality
Each party may receive confidential information from the other. The receiving party will protect such information with at least the same degree of care it uses for its own confidential information (and no less than a reasonable degree), use it only to perform under these Terms, and disclose it only to personnel with a need to know who are bound by confidentiality obligations.
10. Service availability and support
We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Service available with a target uptime of 99.9% per calendar month, excluding scheduled maintenance and events beyond our reasonable control. Support is available by email at support@cvtechsupport.com during UK business hours, with extended availability for critical incidents.
11. Warranties and disclaimers
We warrant that we will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", and CVTechSupport disclaims all other warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits either party's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Subject to the previous paragraph, neither party will be liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or anticipated savings. Each party's total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms will not exceed the fees paid by you to CVTechSupport in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CVTechSupport against any claim arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or any allegation that Customer Content infringes a third party's rights or violates applicable law.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service from time to time. Material adverse changes will be notified to Partner SaaS administrators in advance by email. We may also update these Terms; the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, communicated at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information.

- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Notices. Notices to CVTechSupport must be sent to support@cvtechsupport.com with copy to our registered office address.
- No waiver.A party's failure to enforce a right does not waive that right.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
